A new pavement pounding option from JConcepts is now available to fit the popular Traxxas Rustler and Rustler 4x4. The Switchback is a tire built on a low-profile carcass for high-speed running and occasional running in dirt, gravel, and grass surfaces. The new tire has a switch blade like center tread pattern rotating about the center connected with carcass support structure. Small extrusions on top of each center paddle give a whole lot of detail to the asphalt specialty tires.
The new bashing item has large platform bar tread on the inside and outside of the tire with teeth that hang down on the sidewall for increased versality. The incredibly low-profile carcass carves up the turns and sweeping sections found on parking lots, baseball diamonds, grass fields and skate parks. The new JConcepts Shuttle wheel mounts like a traditional 1:8th off-road wheel for maximum bead mounting surface area and low rotating weight. The tires have heavy inner x-bracing, sidewall support ribs to help minimize expansion combined with an all-purpose medium compound.
The pre-mounted Switchback tire is mounted with open cell inserts for versatility and dependability. The JConcepts Shuttle wheel is freshly designed for a wide range of enthusiasts who are looking for style and durability. The pre-mounted tires are factory glued, and QC checked to ensure consistency to perform quickly and with peace of mind. The replaceable hex adaptor included and assembled accommodates the 12mm hex based configurations and fits vehicles such as the Traxxas Rustler and Rustler 4x4.
