The Reflex tread pattern is the industry standard for competition racing and one of the most popular and widely used 1/8th off-road tread patterns on the market. The Reflex, released in 2014, is a proven commodity and is consistently a top performer at races around the globe.
The Reflex has square angled pins that are stacked vertically to flex and fold evenly across the tire. Typically, a stacked tread will wear less and provide more forward bite while the aligned space helps rotation in the turns and gives a snappy release to square up quickly. The continuous radius carcass allows the vehicle to drive through the turns with consistency, even in poor or deteriorating conditions.
The JConcepts tire features connected bars throughout the tire design to improve wear and increase consistency in forward acceleration. Clipped outer pins give drivers improved confidence to open more throttle in sweeping corners where the vehicle will carve with more speed. The Reflex arrives standard with the proven Dirt-Tech insert and is compatible with RM2 Insert Bands (8141) and Sidewall Support Adapters (2735) for fine tuning. The Dirt-Tech insert, popularized by its durable nature and gray color, gives customers the combo package they have been waiting for from JConcepts.
