The Quick Draw is the first JConcepts 12-hole wheel that is all-aluminum CNC machined and clear anodized to perfection. The base of the wheel is the heavy-duty center with a more positive offset to allow the user to accommodate an assortment of builds and portal axle combinations on the market.
The 2.0" design inspiration which mounts directly to 1.9" tires allow maximum clearance to suspension and steering geometry giving first in class performance attributes. Optional hex adaptors allow builders and competition experts to tune trackwidth to accommodate specific rules and regulations out on the trail. The JConcepts wheels include 4.5mm hex adaptors for the most versatility with 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, and 8.5mm optional parts available to fit.
The Quick Draw wheel has approximately 2.5mm more negative offset when compared to the Ballistic wheel, so the stance will be slightly wider overall making it a great wheel for more open fender vehicles. The six heavy-duty 3mm BHCS hardware holds the hex adaptor tight and snug and fits to an assortment of vehicles on the market. The all-steel construction inner bead locking ring is rigid and provides a steady force to grip the 1.9" tire beads. The actual outer and decorative bead lock ring is aluminum and black anodized for stealth looks while the screw mount locations are counterbored for less screw head overhang.
Recessed detail on the bead lock rings is heavily machined featuring chamfering on all the inner edges to help pull together a complete wheel, tire, bead lock aesthetic. Twelve grippy M3x6 BHCS screws secure through the open holes of the bead lock ring and attach to the main Quick Draw wheel assembly. Once assembled the whole wheel allows a very clean installation for the vehicle with the included 4.5mm adaptor giving a terrific stance to just about any crawler truck. The included hardware doesn't surpass any main component while viewing from the inside, the outer bead, inner radius combined with smooth interior has show build qualities.
Note: The Quick Draw wheel package contains 2x M3x12 BHCS screws to help begin the build process of the JConcepts wheels. Since a tight bead mount is critical to performance, it's easier to begin a build using the included long screws in opposite directions on the wheel. Start the process by installing the screws and actively push or maneuver the beads of the tire into place with a flat head screwdriver. After the bead lock ring starts to lower and tire beads take a set, start securing the remaining screws on the bead lock ring and evenly lowering the bead lock with screws until the final clamp against the wheel is obtained. Remember to replace the M3x12 starter screws with M3x6 to finalize so no screw overhangs exist inside the wheel.
