The mid-sized truck wars were intense during the 1980's and 1990's and the Ford Ranger was a standout during this time. In 1985, BIGFOOT 4x4 created the ultimate Ford Ranger, first labeled as Ms. BIGFOOT, and shortly thereafter, re-named the BIGFOOT Ranger.
The BIGFOOT Ranger was unique, built with 48" tires, 5-ton axles, and 4-link suspension with airbags. The BIGFOOT team created another successful vehicle with a monstrous power plant featuring a 571 Alan Root engine. The BIGFOOT blue paint was first applied to the 1985 body style with linear graphics package to resemble production vehicles available during that time. Eventually, the truck was updated to feature the newer 1989 body style.
The JConcepts team used the Ranger body and designed quality decal packages to allow you to build the early or late model versions of the popular full-size vehicle. Made to fit on the Traxxas Stampede and Stampede 4x4, two of the industry's most successful RC platforms. The package includes Ford Ranger decal sheet and BIGFOOT Ranger decal sheet to fully detail the body after customer applied paint has been added.
