Spring Rate
Concepts
Front Spring Rate
Controls stiffness of front springs.
Effects:
- Stiffer: Faster front response, reduced body roll, less front traction over bumps
- Softer: More front grip, increased body roll, slower steering response
Rear Spring Rate
Controls stiffness of rear springs.
Effects:
- Stiffer: Rear rotates less, more stability in jumps, reduced rear grip
- Softer: More rear traction, increased rotation, less stable over jumps
